Developed about 1970s, one of the "new village" at the suburb of Northern Kuala Lumpur.
Almost purely residential area, except some light-industry beside Ipoh road (esp Taman Selayang Baru), Whole-sale market and Batu-Caves, thus many residents work in Kuala Lumpur, or others place.
